It even generated more revenue for the federal government than ever before. But of course, even if it was better for everyone, because it was Trump, the Left must hate it.

Crazy how anyone is against paying less tax and keeping more of your own money rather than giving it away to a group misfits who are 34 trillion in debt.
By misfits you mean everyone in elected office in Washington for the last 125 years. Added about 8 trillion under Trump.

Obama first full year in office was 2009 Revenue was 2.11T

His last full year was 2016 it was 3.37

    That is a 59.7% increase

Trumps first full year was 2017 3.32T

Last full year was 2020 3.42T

    That is a 3.0% increase

wow if you want to play that game, the Obama added more to the debt than every president before him combined. What did the country get for his spending? At least with Trump you got an upgrade in the military.

Trump spent a ton of money on the military. I criticized him for spending too much. I have also always said the top job for the government is to protect the people and help the needy. Trump was never in politics and the military needed an upgrade. Could he have done it cheaper? Probably.

The fact remains the same. Just about everything was better under Trump. You can pretend otherwise. That's ok. Just seems silly.

You are allowed to send the IRS more money than required by law. You should take advantage. I am sure they'd appreciate it.

Get rid of the 70,000 pages and make it a flat tax and the form is the size of a postcard. Add a VAT or GST country wide. Simple. It will generate more revenue and almost impossible to completely cheat the system because those that work for cash still pay something.

Now you want to change the game. I thought we was playing the revenue game.

This is what I was replying to.
''even generated more revenue for the federal government than ever before.''

I'm no big Obama fan, but that is facts.

Revenue grew at a much slower pace under Trump. The corporate tax rate cut, killed the growth. If he wanted to lower it a couple points, probably not that big of a difference, but 14 points was way to much. When it was 35% they were paying less than 20%. So they are probably not paying 10% now.

I agree 100% the tax code is way too big, it needs simplifying. It will be bigger than a post card, but not 70,000 pages. Maybe a 1000, at the most.

Trump took over the WH with the country in better shape than any other POTUS in my lifetime. For the first three years it stayed on the same progression it had been on for a few years. Then with Trump POTUS and responsible for the USA just like Biden is now. COVID put a monkey wrench in the country. It was on his watch, and he did a bad job on holding it together. The country was worse off when his term was over than when he took over.

you are definitely mistaken. Obama was horrible as a president. Other than lifting stem cell research, what did he accomplish during his presidency? Serious question. Dividing the country? Forcing people to buy obamacare or be fines and even jailed? Men allowed to take a shit in women's bathrooms? What did he actually do? He is a very charismatic guy good looking dude and is quite funny, but that doesn't make him a good president. Or is it because he is Black that its taboo to say he sucked? He had to bribe a senator to even pass obamacare and remember when Nancy said, you have to pass it to know what in it? LOL.

Trump's accomplishments are lengthy. Even after McCain gave the middle finger to Americans by casting the deciding vote to repeal Obamcare right before he did, Trump was at least able to remove the clause which would fine or imprison someone who was force to buy what the government was selling. Tax reform. Trade deals. Border policies. Middle East peace deals. ISIS. Billions given to US farmers because of tariffs placed on China. etc etc.

Trump actually did shit. That is why they hated him and still do. He makes them all most of them look like incompetent morons.

No one knew what to do about Covid at the time. Blaming Trump is silly. Trump never forced anyone to take it or lose their job. We know who did after saying he would never do such a thing.

CNN is filled with grifters and losers. Here's a perfect example.

            <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">CNN is losing their mind that Tucker Carlson is in Russia and may be interviewing Vladimir Putin<br><br> <a href="https://t.co/FWY7t5VcQg">pic.twitter.com/FWY7t5VcQg</a></p>&mdash; Benny Johnson (@bennyjohnson) <a href="https://twitter.com/bennyjohnson/status/1754722980125458449?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" >February 6, 2024</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Here is what journalism looks like

I never said Obama was a great or even good POTUS, but the economy was doing good when he handed it off to Trump. Trump got it better than any other POTUS in my lifetime. Bush SR. would be the only one close.

Most of all of what you call accomplishments are debatable. Nevertheless, I was speaking about economics.

Taking away the mandate from ACA was an accomplishment.

With my business the ACA was good for me. Saved me thousands a year. The mandate was bullshit Trump did good there. The Supreme court letting the States decide to not expand Medicaid was wrong.

they aren't journalists anymore. They are advocates. Throne sniffers.

That video is a perfect example how a "journalist" sold her integrity for a paycheck and to continue to be included in the democratic party's list of acceptable people. Slowly people are waking up and unplugging from these grifters because they have been lied to and deceived too many times. The monopoly the MSM had for decades is over. CNN and MSNBC are now filled with D-list talk show hosts. The absolute worst people in the industry still work there.

Chang, appearing on Newsmax's "Newsline," was asked about Russia President Vladimir Putin's recent comment that Russia would prefer to work with Biden instead of former President Donald Trump, with Putin saying Biden is "more experienced, more predictable," and "a politician of the old formation."

Chang noted that Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping are "very, very close," and said that "although China and Russia have long-term disagreements, right in the here and now they are allies, and what I think they're seeing is that it would be much better for Biden to continue." Chang added: "Remember with Biden, you had the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan. Then you have the disastrous policies that led to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, where Biden said, Oh, you know, maybe a small incursion would be OK. "Then you have the U.S. completely absent in North Africa, as China and Russia are tearing it apart. And, of course, you have a very pro-Iranian American president right now, who is basically helping China achieve its goals in the Middle East. So, yeah, of course, they want Biden to continue."[/IMG]

Any chance countries think that because Biden is a more desirable POTUS than Trump for every country? Including America?

Has to be at least "a possibility" that's why virtually every country feels that that way doesn't it?
