The price of iron ore has tanked massively, that is where the GDP change comes from almost solely.

Unemployment rate, business activity index, housing markets and interest rates have all held up way better than initial predictions. Small businesses and wage earners have all been propped up financially the whole time and most have survived the restrictions a lot better than anyone could have hoped.

Economic optimism is widespread and high. The area I live in is preparing for a huge business boom when Sydney people are allowed to leave the area on Dec 1. People are excited. Even the ones I know who have chosen not to get vaxxed agree.
