She referred to sports betting but she meant all gambling.

There's probably some old threads on this but, times have changed so maybe someone has a creative answer to help with this issue.

Also, I'm not losing $ gambling.

Might not be about money.

It all depends on the issue she is having with you betting on games or gambling in general.

I can help you here, I think, but it all depends on what the problem is. In the end, the general advice is to address the problem and show her how betting on games can be done with that specific issue eliminated.

If the problem becomes that your hobby is taking too much time, for example, you may have to adjust your time management. Almost all situations can be accounted for if you have patience and discipline, but if you are reckless and have a gambling problem, binging, etc, then those issues have to be addressed.

Some can't overcome some issues, it's just in the nature of the spectrum of humanity.

As long as your not losing too much, most people lose a little bit, probably not an issue. As KVB said, likely a time issue.

For me, wake up, go to work, come home, diner spend time with the family. After that from 10:00 to 12:00 is my time to work on sports betting. Doesn't get in the way of other obligations.

Tanko only thing I can think of without knowing you, wife, or your relationship dynamic, is to get her involved. Maybe helping you capping or research. Perhaps that's far-fetched.

A woman in my life was not into sports at all, but after time went by and several conversations, she re-discovered how her own parents used to love to go to Candlestick Park in San Francisco to watch the Giants play when she was a youth. So she had that connection. Now, she is constantly asking me to go to SF and see a Giants game during the summer. Not exactly the same situation as yours, but she has actual legitimate interest in following the Giants now. Funny thing is, I don't enjoy seeing sporting events in-person, I don't like going compared to watching a game on TV.

You NEVER tell women anything about gambling or that you are gambling.

When you win she will want some of the winnings, when you lose she will tell you you're the biggest idiot in the world for losing money gambling.

It's a 100% lose/lose for them to know anything about it.

Just tell her you like sports and get excited over it.

A couple months ago when I was in Vegas with this little wh0re the only gambling I did was when she was upstairs in the room getting ready to go out for the night.
