Yes they can... I trust them to defend my usa freedom as a police officer or as a miitary enlisted individual. People that hate cops have an iq as much as a donut. Having no cops would ruin this country!

Agree, but we knew a lot before kindergarten from our parents. K-6, ok. After that put them in the fields to plant some food!

When they are 16 or so, bring back the draft - to maybe then - end these fukking wars.

And yet we assign, in many cases, an exclusive right of force to them. It's ridiculous. Fortunately we are reducing military enlistment because we can fight w technology now, which will reduce the number of brain dead blunt instruments that simply cannot adjust to civilian life. Let's hope that local municipal leaders will see the light as well, go with technology and reduce cops, their stupid pointless enforcement techniques and do law enforcement via technology and the courts.

Modern cops serve no legitimate purpose by using policing techniques that were considered antiquated in the 60s

Even some of the ones that are "ok" still teach military technique ,and strategy, how to stop bleeding in quick situations ect....its like they think they are still there...........its still in them 100%

cops are the iron fist of the plantation owner who's given his rules and laws to the herd as absolutes to live by. the plantation owner knows there is nothing unique or that differentiates him from the herd other than supposed merits he is said to have attained that allows him to be seen as overseer. his status is maintained by the skillful use of mere words. he understands his mastery of communication between he and the herd could easily be broken if the herd ever understood that he has no real authority and they are no different than he. touting his rules and laws he binds society with a circus like perception.

when a contract is broken and one or more of the herd goes astray from the pack out of nowhere one of the pack appears but one with a new nature having been transformed into a new creature and dressed in pig's attire. although appearing as one of the pack the pig makes it clear he is not of the same stock and further details how he has taken an oath to uphold the plantation owner's wishes to the last letter of the law and will take drastic measures if needed. snorting and gasping, indeed this gun wielding baton carrying pig is not like the others. the same rules he's been instructed to enforce he can be seen, on a daily basis, breaking any and all of them. in order to not dissuade others from becoming pigs the plantation owner has decided to overlook most of the transgressions that the pigs commit so as not to create a revolving door. the pig becomes emboldened as his actions are seen as justified and negative commentary is drowned by focusing on the pig's good deeds.

This is incorrect. They shot lethal and non-lethal munitions at a guy that wanted "suicide by cop" and took a shooting stance toward the officers. The guy is in stable condition.

Which begs 2 questions: What's a shooting stance if you don't have a weapon? And why do police ever use lethal munitions if non-lethal munitions are available?

More worthless cops who don't know the law or proper procedure for investigating a possible crime.

A black realtor showing a house in Cincinnati and his potential buyer, who was also black, had guns drawn on them and were detained and cuffed after retired policeman, Tom Branigan, called 911 to report them breaking in. "The house is for sale, but it's not an open house today," Branigan told the 911 dispatcher. "And I just seen two male black subjects force the front door open." A police union spokesman says the officers acted correctly, but yet the city settled for $151,000 just 3 days after a lawsuit was filed. If the cops acted correctly, why did the city not try to fight the lawsuit in court?

Nick Nitro's comment below the story sums it up best:

"Per SCOTUS, a call or complaint by itself is not enough for a detention. The officer must also observe what is allegedly happening. A call or complaint is classified as HEARSAY, which has never been held as fact in any court."

How many arrests do we gave for ppl who literally dont cause property damage or harm to others. Even dui stuff is kinda BS if theres no damage or harm. DUI isnt bad , just swerving ? Like anyone knows when the fukk a drunk driver is actually going to wreck . I can imagine cops saying , " Hey , we have to wait and follow them unitl they kill someone or hit something " ?
Really ? And I've had one 15 years ago , charged with it but dropped , also haven't drank since then either .
Seatbelts and signals also drive up wrecks , injuries and guess what , Insurance premiums . In which , im sure you would complain about that, as well . I damn sure do , 70% of my premium is to cover other sorry ass drivers .
                                        Wow , just wow .

Cops will ALWAYS protect other cops. Call it the “Blue Code” or call it whatever. But DO NOT tell me it doesn’t exist.

I’ve been, hands behind my back, IN HANDCUFFS, and had a local grab my balls and tell me not to get mouthy to him. All because I invoked my 5th Amendment Rights and said “I’m NOT answering any more of your questions. I want to call my attorney.”.

So you can fukk off azzhole. In my book ALL cops are criminal azzholes NEVER to be trusted. Sorry it had to be that way but hey, THEY MADE THEIR OWN BEDS, and now they have to sleep in them.

Trust cops? Talk to cops? Help cops?

Fukk NO. I will watch them bleed to death in a gutter before I raise a finger to help.

The story/video on the page linked below shows an obvious cover-up by POS detective Patrick O’Hara and his deputy buddies after he crashes his vehicle after a night out drinking. O'hara just walks away from the scene leaving his injured wife who is trapped in the crashed vehicle. One of the deputies on the scene even offered to give him a ride home. O'hara ran from the state police for seven hours allowing enough time to sober up and avoid his second DWI. He claimed "somebody cut in front of me" as the reason for the crash, but an eye witness told a completely different version of what happened. O'hara even admitted to consuming 8 drinks in four hours prior to the crash.

                                            The punishment?

O'hara was never charged with anything and demoted to working courtroom security. He is also required to wear a bodycam at all times as part of his punishment. The two deputies who allowed him to walk away were suspended for one day without pay.

The corruption of thin blue line gang prevails again.

Newly released video and investigative documents are providing more details into what happened the night an Anoka County law enforcement officer was accused of leaving the scene of an injury accident after a night of drinking.

Yes Slipknot...the cops cant do anything until I have caused property damage or personal injury.

"Chances are, if you pull out a gun in an attempt to kill a curious dog, only to miss and strike a child less than two feet from you, your actions would be considered negligent and unreasonable. But that is only because you're not a cop."

Deputy Michael Vickers was attempting to shoot a family's dog after chasing an armed robbery suspect and shot a 10-year-old boy who was less than 2 feet away. The shooting occurred after Vickers ordered several children and the suspect to the ground. They all followed the deputy's instructions only for one of the children to be stuck by one of two shots fired at the family's dog. Vickers was granted his thin blue line privilege qualified immunity and won't be held accountable for his negligence and poor judgement. The shooting took place just over 5 years ago. Vickers won his appeal last week in the Eleventh Circuit court squashing a lawsuit in which the family was seeking $2 million in damages to compensate for the boy's medical expenses. A dissenting judge wrote, "Because no competent officer would fire his weapon in the direction of a nonthreatening pet while that pet was surrounded by children, qualified immunity should not protect Officer Vickers."

Legislation is needed to remove and abolish all LEO qualified immunity and require them to purchase and carry their own civil liability insurance. There is no reason police should not be held accountable for conduct that any regular citizen would face criminal charges and/or civil liability for.

America's government spent the last 50 years weeding out good cops while encouraging police forces to become increasingly dysfunctional, entitled and corrupt.

Another low IQ cop makes false accusations against a citizen.

"Cop Wrongly Blames McDonald's Worker for Biting Sandwich then Serving it to him.

Believing he had been victimized by a McDonald's employee who had served him a McChicken sandwich after taking a bite out of it, an Indiana sheriff's deputy launched an investigation to find the culprit.

It turned out to be him.

The Marion County sheriff's deputy identified only as DJ said he had simply forgotten he had taken a bite out of the sandwich which is why he suspected an employee of tampering with his food to show his contempt for police."

                                                      What a dumb ass.

Cop Fired for Losing Meth he Seized from Suspect Wins his Job Back

"Police officer Michael Mirino, who was dismissed from the DeLand Police Department in 2017 after he lost methamphetamine evidence he seized from a suspect, has been given his job back by the city the same city that fired him.

                                                        The evidence was never found.

Mirino, who has had several disciplinary actions mounted against him during his career, is back on the job as a patrol officer after the city of DeLand promised to give him one last chance to "salvage" his career in policing.

The most recent incident happened after he and two other police officers stood watch as members of probation and parole searched the home of a man out of jail on supervision.

Drug contraband, specifically methamphetamine, was found inside the home, including a "white powdery substance," which Mirino tested to confirm was methamphetamine, according to a police report.

The 19-year-old suspect was charged with violating his probation, but the drugs seized by officer Mirino never made it to the evidence room and none of the three police officers called to the scene, including Mirino, made any mention of the meth in any of their written arrest reports.

Mirino failed to do so even though he was required to document the seized contraband.

After that incident, due to the seriousness of his previous reprimands and suspensions, Mirino was fired by brass.

Previously, Mirino has been discipline and suspended for unprofessional conduct including failing to conduct a thorough investigation, missing a court date to testify, accidentally discharging a firearm and sleeping while on duty.

Greg Cook, of the International Union of Police Associations, the police union that represent officers in DeLand, said Mirino's "discipline was excessive" and said he deserved to get his job back."

What load of crap. The police union thought the punishment was excessive? After all of this POS's mistakes and blatant disregard for the department's policies, there is no way this idiot deserves his job back. No other employer would tolerate this level of stupidity and sheer ignorance, but the blue line gang does.

Maybe he was storing the meth in his nose to preserve it for trial, forgot about it, and mistakenly inhaled it

Just last week article in Minneapolis Star listed over 6700 incidents where 911 calls went unanswered lol. There are nearly 1,000 Minneapolis police, one for every 300 residents....not to mention County sheriffs. What a complete collection of assholes and lame bureaucrats. Always "more money", "more cops" needed yet they never solve anything and cause more dis harmony in the community than good. Guy in prior story doing parole checks....takes 2 cops to do a parole check? Just complete losers and total waste of money and unjustified money grab by local governments.
