A Pennsylvania man lost his cool over how a store clerk was bagging his groceries, choking the cashier for putting potato chips and canned goods in the same bag, police said.


According to Fairview Township Police, Bradley Bower was shopping with his wife at a Giant Food Store on Feb. 2 when he allegedly attacked the cashier for the way the clerk was handling his groceries.

so... the cans were on top of the bag of chips?

let's say its a crappy plastic bag like the ones most grocery stores/wal-mart have... you can easily have 6 cans on the bottom of the bag that create a stable base layer as long as the cans are the same size/height or just about. toss the bag of chips sideways in the bag... fits fine unless it's a larger bag/party size/etc

anyone can figure these things out when you use the self scanner areas in stores... don't put anything on top of the eggs? nah.... f that. toss your bread on top and something soft on the side (marshmallow bag, tiny jello boxes, ramen... if you like that garbage)

I know all the tricks. I bagged up groceries age 16 to 17 at a locally owned IGA in my hometown.

now... if someone tossed my bread in a bag then started chucking cans in or shoving large boxes in then the cashier and me are going to have words lol
