20 years ago i was actually a good basketball player. it's the only sport i excelled it. i loved soccer, tennis and baseball but not was great at them. i was a good rec league and streetball player. so i walk up to a court and no one would pick me up on the team nor my buddy who was a slow looking white guy. we then asked 3 small HS kids to join us and the 5 of us ran the court for the next several hours on a saturday afternoon and we beat teams that were made up of mostly black guys and marines. i am 6'2" and back then i could jump about 30-33 inches so i was blocking everything in the key left and right. my white buddy was nailing 22 footers, and the 3 HS kids who were 5'8" and under, kept stealing the ball and when i would rebound i would kick it out on the break and they would do lay ups all day.

after the game, i went to the guys who would not pick us up on their team and i said "who laughing now?" yes, i said it just like that: "WHO LAUGHING NOW?"
