    This I gotta see?

Trump has ironed a new trade deal that clearly is better for America with Canada.. It still has to pass Congress, will this better trade BILL get any Democrat Senator votes? Republicans will pass this thru Congress we know that, but will any Dems vote YES???

Thoughts? It's a win for Trump and it's clearly a win for America..

Trump's new trade deal with Canada and Mexico is winning early praise

    • The US, Canada, and Mexico agreed on Sunday to update the North American Free Trade Agreement, rebranding the deal as the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement, or USMCA.
    • The deal would make edits to NAFTA's auto, labor, and dispute-resolution rules and open up access to various protected industries like dairy and wine.
    • Business groups praised the trilateral nature of the deal, especially as US President Donald Trump had threatened to kick out Canada.
    • But they cautioned that final approval was subject to a close examination of the agreement's details.

Of course they will, you know "obstruct and resist", Trumps favorite phrase for Sept till the midterms, and in November the phrase will be "it wasn't me"

I dunno. I think the dems are all-in at this point. Their fringe base will go ape-shit if anyone votes yes.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are more conference calls going on right now for planned protests and yelling matches to stop this.

The few Dems in the Trump States now up for re-election may might flip with Kav and vote yes on Trade to have a chance.. I'm sure they want to see the FBI first before making that jump ship decision...

It's all about resist Trump for the Dems as a party though, NO TRUMP WINS!!! Anything Trump does even if it's great for America and tax payers the Dem votes are coming in as a NO..

I gotta see how this plays out on the Democrat voting side?????

interesting question is how much of what trump has done the democrats will overturn when they get back in power (which i'm virtually certain they will........ sorry, maybe not the senate but the house and presidency)..

in canada, the opposition wailed about free trade (with USA), NAFTA (new free trade deal, incl. mexico) and the GST (a retail tax...big parts of it were just hidden before. now it was at the checkout)...

anyway, the opposition got into power and didn't reverse anything that evil brian mulroney did. in fact, they should have named him "man of the year". he did what they didn't want to do.

similar vein.......... will presidential elections go back to both candidates being anti-tariff? or has trump opened pandora's box? (hope the mythical reference is apt, not sure)

                ....

many people i know think trump is mentally ill... thousands of (i think) non-partisan psychologists think the same..... that trump's the stock market and economy are strong. (sorry for the pun. only realized when i was typing it)

plus the economy was already strong before trump......... and juicing an already strong economy is an economics 101 no-no. we shall see

I'm sure it goes both ways, Dems when and if they regain the power and the white house better becareful to not pile back on the regulations or the economy will tank, businesses will run to other Countries.. Raise taxes won't please Americans either... Lastly reversing the better Trade deals with other Countries would really not be wise....

Trump is good for the economy and the American people like money, bottom line..
