Addopting Buddhism as a life path

Raised catholic but turned agnostic on my teens... its been a long road and for quite some time I have been fascinated by the teachings and philosophies of Tibetan Buddhism...

The changes you have to adopt to fully follow the path are harsh and in some ways unnatural... some things are quite scary to restrict oneself from.

Anyone with some experience in this religion?

Any advice?

Yeah basically avoiding becoming anything similar to you on my old age. 1st step good, I have hair.

But... in order to be so shallow and square id need to break my skull or some sshit like that... I am blessed by my 142 IQ... but been doomed by lack of emotional control and intelligence.

It is through Buddhism how I tackle my main weakness.

This can only make me better at everything, by simply being and not wanting.

Don't let the negativity get you down. I'm not Buddhist (I'm not religious at all), but I've had positive experiences with mediation. IMO, it's most helpful with learning to have empathy with others, including and especially those who are negative to you.
