I sat on a flight next to her about 10 years ago where we talked for a couple of hours. Very nice woman, did not act pretentious or stand offish. I recall her being very intelligent and well informed. She certainly raised my respect level of her. Physically, she was very, very tiny with breast too big for her body. She had a sore on her lip and looked very average without makeup. She obviously was dressed down (it was a late flight). My first thought was that makeup can do wonders. But after talking to her, her attitude and intellect made her very attractive.Comment -

Living in Hollywood, you meet a lot of models and movie stars and most do not look as good in person. 2 woman that are absolutely gorgeous in person without makeup are Brooke Shields and Iman. I met Brooke Shields in the mid 80's at a book signing she was doing. She was drop dead gorgeous. I've seen some pretty woman in my life but she would be top of the list. A couple of friends dared me to ask her for a kiss and she pecked me on the cheek. I was too nervous to ask for her number or give her mine.
I was getting off a flight at LAX when I saw Iman by herself struggling with a couple bags. I immediately rushed over there and picked them up for her. She had this accent and skin like silk. Wow, beautiful black woman. She was like, "oh thank you darling, you are such a doll". We chatted for a while until we got to pickup area. I don't even remember what we were talking about because she was so gorgeous. She gives me a big hug and kisses me on both cheeks as she got in a town car. I walk away all giddy and then it dawns on me I should at least get her number. I run back to pickup and she was gone. Damn you idiot. About 3 months later she got engaged to David Bowie. I use to joke that if I wasn't such a wimp, she would have never married David Bowie.Comment -

What was weird was that I always thought she had herpes because of the canker sore but it was Hepatitis? Does Hepatitis cause lip sores? It was very distracting talking to her with the sore on her lip. You know where you are trying not to let them know that you noticed but you can't help it.

I'm sure she has both. Hepatitis is a liver disease but I don't think it does anything to your lips. Most of the population has either type 1 or 2 herpes, and both can have lip sore symptoms.
