User to drink heavy years ago. Last 4 years just one maybe two days a week. Now taking a permanent break. Shit is no good. Quit smoking 2 years ago and now time to do this as well. Wish me luck. It will be very hard.

Quit smoking 5 years ago. Don't drink everyday but I do get wasted a few times a month and I just don't recover fast anymore. I tied one on last night and now I've just been laying in bed all day watching tv. I should take an extended break. Parties and people suck though unless I'm drinking.

waw, Didn't know that. I'll stick to my few beers. Might have a little belly but beer s refreshing. Go out for a few hours before my day off and home in time for lottery drawing to tear up another ticket. Have a few on my day off in front of the grill. Not a heavy drinker but its nice to get tipsy and watch a game or movie. Entertain friends. Tough transition ahead Laker. Try not to be rude to your loved ones.

A transition might help LB. When I quit smoking I started to play ball at the University during the first few weeks. Fukkin kids stay 20 every semester as I get older but it worked well to keep the edge off. Maybe the gym? No idea just a suggestion

Anyone who thinks this is insane, and was just a casual drinker. Alcohol withdrawal kills, and drives your brain mad. Cigarettes just make you irritated, antsy, and needing something else to take your mind off of it.
