Got stiffed by my local this past week

He owes me $423.00. That might not seem like a lot but I usually only place wagers in $35.00 range.

He is a member of this forum. I am not sure to call him out right now.

Last July he contacted me after I replied to a thread about finding locals. He is part of a group and we made arrangements. They have their own wagering site, etc. Everything is legit. We have made transactions ever since July with no problems. I pay him on Mondays, and he pays me on Tuesdays.

I typically hear from him on Mondays, he confirms the +/- from the previous week. I didn't not hear from him the past Monday. I messaged him on Tuesday and he said he was making arrangements. I was like ok that's cool, no big deal. Never heard back Tuesday night. Wednesday evening he messages me again saying 'We will have it sent over in a bit'. Replied back saying not a problem. Never received anything...let it go by on Thursday, I don't want to bother him. Message him again on Friday afternoon and have not heard anything.

Do I call him out on the forum in front of everyone? I am sure since he found me, possibly he has found others...

Im a bit annoyed by this.

Oh I am giving im a break. I just found it odd that we have had good communication and now I haven't heard anything. I am not in need of the $$$, I am giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I am not worried about it yet, haven't run into this before.

Honestly never heard a book stiff a client . It's really odd , he makes money or he wouldn't book , right ?

A guy not able to pay that sum on time would worry me about his solvency unless he got throttled this week and is paying everyone and trying to get his money backer to send him the dough.

Either way I would stop talking about it on here for now and hopefully it's an easy fix! Nice run on small bets though!

I am sure he would not be cool with me stiffing him, but I haven't attempted it. I am not that type of person. Even so, I would work something out, not ignore. I always imagine a group of people showing up at my front door if there is no payment made.

It is all very odd indeed. But like I said earlier, I am not worried about it. I will give it more time without messaging him and see how it all works out.

Dont bet , see if it works out . If you bet , win more , you could just be out more. So that's definitely no good .
So settle this before moving forward with anything.
I could maybe see 10k but 423 is awkward to not pay unless he paid some big losses , had none left but still should just be honest with you if that's the case.
That, at least , allows you to move forward knowing he had a brutal week with larger betting clients and you two would be cool .
