He's probably top 5 atleast...

Nothing will touch early-mid 90s rap though with the whole East/West thing...so many great rappers in their primes during this time

Even late 90s-Early-mid 2000s had some really good/fun stuff, but maybe it's just because I grew up with it I feel that way

Rap just seems to have fallen off the deep end for the past 5 years or so, some good ones mixed in here or there but overall poor

Lame compared to rap nowadays. Some people might not have come over to rap music, if they hadn't been introduced to some of the cheesy stuff first.

Not to me it wasn't. I'm old enough to be of an impressionable enough age when that was coming out, and it did nothing for me. I liked the Blondie song, and thought the dumb rap got in the way, I remember thinking that. When Beastie Boys and KRS-One came out, different story, I was blown away.

Ha funny you say that as I thought the rap bit was just a short bit in the middle. But just went a watched vid and it's most of the song.

Why does everyone always say 2Pac? 2Pac is probably the most influential rapper, but not the best. Not sure greatest of all time, but Kendrick Lamar and Big Krit are killin the game right now.
