You're never going to appease these people. Several residents are upset about the police showing up in riot gear, and how they handled the situation. Tell you what. Fire the entire police staff. Let the national guard police things until these "disenfranchised" residents choose their own police force. A matter of fact, let some of them volunteer and show us how its REALLY supposed to be done. Once that's done, leave them be. Let's see how long it is before its someone else's fault again.

We discussed about whether that was a racist thing to do. He pretty much said that there is no way in hell he would be going to see it without the extra security. It ain't the color of the people coming, but the type of people. I told him point blank that I'm just going to wait until it comes out on DVD.
