I believe in my heart and soul that there is an afte,r after-life and if you worship God’s God in Heaven, you will gets to this after life that exists after heaven which is much better. You just have to have faith.

Also, I find it ironic that relgious people make fun of the Big Bang theory, evolution, natural selection and genetic mutation.....you guys believe in an invisible man in another demension outside of space. At least the scientific theories I’ve listed have some evidence behind them.

It’s hard for people to grasp things. There has to be a reason we’re here. There has to be a creator. There has to be a beginning, etc. maybe all of those assumptions are wrong.

If there has to be a creator, who created God? If you believe God always was, then why is it far fetched to believe that certain elements like hydrogen and nitrogen always existed in the universe?

I’m probably getting way to deep here....it’s easier to read and ancient book and just believe non-sense I guess.

Another is the eye witness accounts written in the gospels by different authors that corroborate what the others wrote and witnessed.

Again, I invite to read an excellent book written by a former athiest who set out to prove his wife wrong when she became "Born Again". He was a high powered lawyer who traveled and spoke to many scholars on both sides of the issue and penned his findings in the book. The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel. An excellent read for people on both sides.

Again, you can’t prove the Bible to an Atheist by telling them to read the Bible.

There is a lot of science and archaeology that doesn’t agree with the Bible too.

As far as eye witness accounts, where is the video and pictures? Are you talking about eye witness accounts in the Bible? Again, you can’t prove the Bible by quoting the Bible.

Everyone has smart phones now. Where is all of the the video proof? If God existed, he would surely make it well known since half his commandments are about bowing down and worshipping him. He wouldn’t leave any room for debate.

A long time ago when the Bible was written, God would always talk to “one” person and that person would pass the gospel by word of mouth and then 30 years later someone else would write it down...don’t you think that is weird? Why wouldn’t God just talk to the entire world.

Basically, if God existed I would see super natural things every day when I walked outside. I don’t. Instead I see people struggling to make ends meet, pain, suffering, natural disasters, war, etc.

Show me video of a talking snake, man walking on water, person living for weeks inside of a whale, or a 900 year old person. Then I’ll believe.

Atheists don’t believe because there is not evidence. In life or even a court of law we always require evidence. Why are relgious books different?

Anyway, I’m sure you don’t believe in other religions for the same reasons I don’t believe in yours. That’s the irony here.

A lot of Christians disregard other religions and haven’t even read other relgious books or studied them. I try to read as much about all of them as I can. That’s probably why I’m an atheist.

2000 years ago when people were sick, they prayed and died of common illness.

Today, people goto the doctors and they’re fine in a few days.

If God is real and prayer works, why would a relgious person ever goto the doctor? Why not just stay home and pray?

This is the hypocrisy that drives us Athiests crazy. The hard problem arguing or debating relgious people is the double standards and hypocritical answers.

Example: Something good happens. All glory goes to God. Something bad happens. God is mysterious and we can’t understand his perfect plan.

This is another problem. Muslims and Jews say the same thing about their religion. Catholics and Baptist day the same thing about their denomination. There is absolutely nothing that makes one religion more believable than the other. You have chosen to believe Christianity.

Prophecy and testimony are the weakest forms of evidence.

Muslims believe Muhammad flew to heaven on a winged horse. There is testimony of that. It doesn’t prove anything.

Typically people develope beliefs based on wha their parents taught them and the culture they live in. This is very evident when you step outside of your world you live in and look around the globe.

I look at things objectively. I Don’t believe outlandish claims that have no evidence andd I don’t live in fear of something that most likely doesn’t exist.

I also understand how hard it is for people to change. If you have had something beaten into you you’re entire life and you’ve been threatened to the point of not even questioning it, you’re probably going to continue to believe it.

As for faith moving mountains, that isn't true. If everyone in the world concentrated and had faith in God moving a mountain, it would not happen.

People make claims like this all the time with no evidence or facts behind them.

I figured actually reading the relgious books is how you educate yourself. I never realized “YouTube”, which was created in 2005, was what it meant to “do ones homework”. Lol. What a joke.

And yes, I have read much of those relgious books. Not cover to cover, but probably more than a lot of Christians have who have unwavering faith in their religion and don’t even understand other religions.

Youtube is a start not the holy grail. People seem to have a problem with the unknown, the weird unless it happens to them.

My friend was just as skeptical as anyone here about psychics until he experienced it for himself.

Those who died and came back were just as skeptical before that happened to them. Yes, there is a story on youtube about an atheist.
