Just buy used man unless your a millionaire. New vehicles are the worst purchase ever. I have a gmc brand truck and it has been fantastic.

my friend just got a gmc truck its pretty bad ass. Lots of cool features.
The seats are a little on the firm side though but still somewhat comfortable.
The new tahoe has the most comfortable seats ever but the break sticks out too far IMO

Not getting diesel.
I was looking at either gmc sierra or chevy silverado. Still got some figuring out to do.
2014s are cheap as 2015s are coming to lots.
Dont agree with "buy used" comments. I want something with a good warranty and that will have value throughout the life of my loan. Buying used feels as if im buying something that isnt there when my loan matures.

If you don't live a life that requires a truck, you are not living life to the fullest. I guess I should buy a "smart" car and cruise around the property in that! Lol...ok now what do you drive, you cant hate on someone else's ride without telling what you have. Let's have it, don't be a d bag.

Ok nothing wrong with a z3. But how do you tow a boat? Or drive through even 6 inches of mud? I'll agree that the guys commuting 100+ miles a day with shiny new beds that have never been scratched, are a little silly.

tow a boat wasnt in my criteria for buying a car, mud? I cant remember the last time i drove through mud.
amercan cars just bug me, no one else likes them except for yourselves.
a couple of the smaller fords and a couple of your muscle cars are ok, and sell somewhat abroad.

Can't haul my CanAm or my Rivvy board in a car. Have a full size 4 door truck and even then loaded down on weekends with my 4 year old and her friends headed to soccer/tumble. Guess if I was a young single guy again with nothing more than my macbook and extra coffee mug and spare set of skinny jeans I could do a car again....but no more.

That's not a popular American car. They must have shipped them all over seas after it flopped here. Also your country was probably settled 900years ago and it's smaller than the state of Texas. Of course you don't think about mud. Give us a few hundred more years and we won't have any mud either. But until then, some of us(who I consider fortunate) think about mud, among other conditions. The US is huge and some people have a lot to move. A truck can be great solution.

Chevy Ford Ram all good trucks love how people argue over them. Agree that you should only get a truck if you need it. Cars handle better are faster and get better fuel economy for the same price as these trucks.

Cars are cheaper in most cases too. Sure you can get the 1.5 cab trucks for $28k or so if lucky but full size unless you get bare bones with no options, no bed liner etc....$38-$58k for the trucks. 4WD etc.

I never said there werent a ton of bad American cars. We were talking about trucks and why one would have one. Cars are another story. IMO a lot of them are built with too much consideration to profit margin rather than performance. I lean American truck, German car(lean Audi bc I love the quattro system and I can work on them). I've also owned a couple low end American cars, Focus and Cobalt both 4 door. Still own cobalt, it's well built and I drive it rougher than most as i bought it for almost nothing(2k usd w 70k miles!). Focus was ok but doesn't offer much performance but you get what you pay for.

Im a big guy, 6 foot 2. Been driving a 2011 chevy malibu since 2010. Just need something bigger. And love trucks.
Think it suits every need. Crew cab so enough room for anything and then at the end of the day its a truck.
I should get a good employee price plus hopefully 0 percent.
I'm only 23 so hoping for a nice deal or I might have to pass.

Should really think about it and make sure you can swing it man. If it's close then you really can't afford it. You never know what will happen, my friends dad got a brand new Silverado and shit went downhill a bit so now his life revolves around the truck payment. No cable, no internet, no going out. I'm sure you're smart enough to do what's best but just saying, no need to push it for a brand new truck.

My Uncle has been buying Rams, Dad buys Fords, friend has Silverado's
Silverado Diesel is a NICE truck, but my uncles Ram (gas) is very nice and I prefer his 2012 over his 2015 that he got last week. Cool feature on his ram, under the footspace in the backseat area, lift up the mat and there is a latch to pull up and it's a cooler and you can probably fit 12 pack (maybe just a 6er) But the truck is sharp looking, especially with some bigger tires than stock (not lifted)
My dads F150, is nice, I just hate the stiffness of the drivers seat and it's uncomfortable to me on trips over a hour. But the backseat is massive and plenty of legroom.

Cuse; thats exactly what im trying to figure out. Youre right. I guess you cant try and predict where youll be at down the road, gotta just do what you feel is right at the moment.
I mean I know I can afford the payments... Just dont know how much the gas, insurance will increase.
My malibu gets 19 mpg.... that is not much of a loss in that department
