So yesterday my wife comes home from work. She yells upstairs to me to come down we have a visitor. I go down and on our front porch (Enclosed)is a small Black Kitten .
Apparently she as my wife opened the door decided to come in with her and make herself at home on our porch.
She is wearing a flea collar but looks cold and thin. So we take her inside and give her some food and water. Then we try to see how our other cat gets along with her. They both hissed and did not get along so we had to put her back outside. I felt bad but did not know what else to do. I was worried about taking her to a shelter where she would be put to sleep.
So we put her back outside. This morning my wife goes out to go to school and she gets the crap scared out of her. Here is the Kitten again on our porch. So she puts her out again.
An hour later she is back on our porch. She came in twice back onto the porch through the mail slot. Which is the only way in. And now it is snowing and freezing out.
So now she is on our porch and do not know what to do. We gave her food and a litter box and water and a blanket. Figure she is better there on the porch for now then outside.
So now i have no clue what to do . Silly Kitty.

Well she is still out on our porch. I feel bad but our cat does not like her at all and i am afraid he will hurt her. She has a shoe box with litter in it and food and water. There is a towel out there she likes to go into the cat post circle thing. I guess it is like a shelter for her so we put the towel in there. The porch is enclosed so the wind does not hit her it is like low 20s out there . It definitely seems warmer out there. But i feel bad keeping her just on the porch but i do not think she will make it outside and if taken to the vet she may end up being put to sleep.

Do you have a cage or a transport to put him in? How about a spare room? If it had a flea collar, it belongs to someone.
Call the humane society and see if anyone lost a cat. If not, describe the cat and tell them if anyone calls, you have it.

It takes a awhile for cats to get along with each other.

If you still need to have it out on the porch, get a small card board box and fill with blankets along with blankets on top.

If all else fails, take it to the pound. At least it will be warm.

I'm a multiple cat owner, so I know what you're going through.

Yea i am going to try rubbing the cat and then rubbing our cat to try to slowly get him used to the scent.I will probably put a few picture posters up to see if anyone lost her. But it could be someone just cast her out which is cruel but i am in Camden so i do not doubt that with some of these people. She has a towel but if we decide to keep her out there longer i will get her one of those little comfy bed things. At least she has food and the wind cannot get to her.

looking for the owner to no avail. Called the humane society, told them I found a dog. Within the hour, the
dog was back with it's owner and got a little tip to boot.

I do not know how many are microchipped but the cat we have now i did check that before we kept him. I would check if we decided to keep him just to make sure.

Dude, you are funny as hell.

Good job on keeping the cat. We also adopted a black stray. He had 6 toes on both his front paws. There's a name for it,
but can't think of it right now. One of the most loving cats I had. Called him Bubba. We had to put him down about 10 years ago, one of those cat diseases.

Yes did not have the heart to put her back out in the cold. I am sure you miss Bubba like we miss Tigger he was a great cat. These two are awesome too. I do not know what a 6 pawed cat is called but way back we had a cat with 2 heads. We called him Two Heads. I would slap the one head from behind and he would think the other head did it and get all pissed off.
I am glad you think i am funny. Most people just hit me or urinate on me on sight. I wish they would stop hitting me .
