Doubtful....it's a great place no doubt but would be tough to just move there on the casino wages. I'd say commute since it's actually not that bad of a drive for the area but not live AT the Lake.

It's a pretty expensive place to live bigbear. I have a few friends who live there and the cost of living in pretty high.

Do you have any experience or a decent résumé for the casino biz?

nope but i love gambling. Not just risking money but i am fascinated by it from all aspects.

          I've always done inside sales.

I'd start with Reno since you really don't wanna venture to the other side into Cali if you're looking for cheaper living. It's a tourism place so probably not going to find a ton of really high paying jobs as an implant. And don't expect much in the way of women either since the locals always joke about the 'Tahoe tens' judging the looks....way more guys than girls so its a battle.

It's also hard to find housing unless you're going in with roommates there.....unless you commute from Reno you'd be looking at some of the little houses/apartments scattered between the strip of hotels/casinos and Heavenly Mountain where you park to hit the mountain.

You'll get your balls taxed off living on the CA side. Avoid.

If you can get into a tipped job somewhere in hospitality, it should be worthwhile. Tahoe is great to where it's "seasonal" all year round.

And I've never heard of +EV (Expected Value) referred to as +EVEN, but I guess that makes sense too.

That'll be the best point. No down season where you can't make any money.
