watching the nightly news and this was mentioned, I couldn't believe it. Wow, we all know it is really dangerous but more dangerous than driving drunk. My god that is incredible. I am not young like most of you people and I even sometimes think I will do a quick text. I never do, but it is in my mind. It will never be in my mind again.

I don't either. It's like going back in time to when there was pagers.

My wife says that she texts so that she doesn't get tied up on the phone for too long. It's so annoying sitting there watching a movie and her phone keeps making goofy noises to alert her that she got a text. I get pissed and say "Will you just fukking call who ever that is already!"

you know the very young brain is not fully developed and prone to taking stupid risks. I don't know if you saw that kid that decided he was athletic enough to jump over a card speeding toward him at 40 mph. He jumped a little late and got hit. Probably better to jump a little early I was thinking. I thought, WTF probably not a good idea at all. lol

Kids do stupid things, I did you probably did too but this texting wow, don't do it.

Sometimes I like to call and say like 6 words and then hang up. Same concept and always gets a "what the hell was that??" response...usually by text which makes it even more to the issue.
