I'd rather have a 2011 Porsche Cayman than a Corvette any day.

Stay away from the 'Vette, that fiberglass body will fold like an accordian with a minor hit.
You really should have a new ride set up before you sell your's though.
I'm a jeep guy, get yourself a Grand Jerokee, my last one lasted over 1/4 million miles.
You want a vintage muscle car, you got 25K or so? Find yourself a late 60's GTO.
IMO, the greatest American muscle car of all time.

I personally think the Beemer is overrated, not saying it's a crap car, it's not, but for the money you can do better.

I personally think it's a motherfcking GREAT car, BUT, I hear you, the price for a new one is massive.
Been driving BMW my whole life though.
He isn't looking for a new one, and if his budget is 20-40k as he says, he could get a 2008/2009 M5 with facelift easily. And I guarantee one thing: You won't find any other car that is that old and looks like new inside. BMW stands for absolutely high quality interior.
One thing is for sure though: You can't argue with other guys about a car being great or not. We are all biased in some way and we definitely can't argue about style. Personally I love BMW, I think they are the best cars available in the world in terms of look and engine (normal cars, not talking about 500k sportscars etc). Lots of guys like Audi f.e., in my eyes they are absolutely boring grandpa-style cars, but hey, to each his own. I love the BMWs because they have great highclass interior, I love the outside look (always sporty but with style and class nonetheless) and the engines are a dream.
Right now I'm driving a 5er touring with M-Package. Having an eye on the new 4er though. Test drove it 2 weeks ago (my uncle owns several BMW-stores across the country), it's a dream. Will come out in Octobre.

In the middle there's the new BMW 4er.
Above Audi A5.
The last one is the Mercedes E class Coupe.
Personally I think the Audi is looking absolutely boring against the other 2. The E class Coupe is okay in my eyes, don't like the massive star too much, and the sideline could have been better as well. The 4er is a badass IN MY EYES, but there may be lots of guys that disagree. In the end a car has to suit you, because you alone are the one that has to drive with it.

I bought a Hemi-Orange R/T in 2009 and it was a really great looking car, but it just weighed a ton. First thing I did was cut off the suitcase muffler underneath and welded in 2 stainless steel pipes for the proper sound. I just didn't feel like I was driving a muscle car because it was too quiet.
I am interested in seeing the new Barracuda that it coming out in 2015.
