Usually those missed XP's bite me in the ass too, I feel your pain, I really do.

Look at it this way though, if he makes that XP early in the game it's a four point game instead of three at 7-3
Changes the whole complexion of the game because at some point down the road if Tucker hits a FG to make it 7-6 there may be a two point conversion or two in the second half. You never know.

Point being it's easy to point to that missed XP as the reason for the non cover, but it might not be the sole reason,
