I've been looking at a few angles for property in the area. Parking, AirBnB, retail, etc. Once they start having Super Bowls back in LA, Olympics, and other big events, I think lodging is the correct play. Picking a residential area in Inglewood is super dicey though. Anything west of La Cienega is going to be pricey.Comment -

Any chance we can talk about the Lakers? I like Walton and I personally think they made a good decision. That roster I am unsure about. Lots of drama. I also am interested in DAntoni and what happens this go round. I remember his squads of past but I feel something may be different this time. Watching Dwight frustrates me though as I feel like he should just dominate the entire court and most of the time I don't see it like I would expect. Fouls are irrelevant when you are superman but this may be due to my distorted view of the NBA from my youth.Comment -

I saw your post but didn't have time to post much...a lot of interruptions. Lakers are interesting but Clippers will still probably do better this season than the Lakers. You're right, a lot of uncertainty for the Lakeshow, roster and coach.
It's interesting though, maybe Kerr can spawn a bunch of winning coaches from his system, or maybe the GS roster was just using talent, and not so much a system.
It's kind of like Bill Walsh of the SF 49ers. From his legacy of coaches came several Super Bowl champions, like Shanahan and Holmgren to name two. Call it skill, a system, coaching, or just plain a connected family...call it what you will, but it can't be denied.
Kerr seems to come from a lineage of champions, the Lakers are a lineage, and Luke Walton, who seems pretty solid in his own right, sort of spawns from the ooze of of both, to say the least.
The Lakers team has enough talent to get the nightly job done, and can be dangerous any night, but probably not enough to belong in the playoffs. A lot of NBA teams can say this. We'll see though, things like this are always surprising.

Grapes pointed out the line movement in NFL and got me looking a bit.
Sharper forecast sees 28-28 tie between Jax and Tenn..that's actually an underdog play at +3.5.
Stacked forecast shows Tenn winning 31-14.
Public gauge has Tenn winning 23-20.
This line opened at 46.5 and dropped though 45 and through 44, this is significant. The bounce off 43 means less, unless it hits 44.
I'm not saying this is the big one but I will put it in bold. I picked up OVER 43.5 (-107) for Jacksonville vs. Tennessee.
It's that kind of night...I think.

I think that if points are coming in the NFL that they are coming fast. Once we see an OVER in this circumstance, live value will disappear until possibly the fourth quarter with a final but risky UNDER play.
No deception, more like with authority, if it's the OVER.
OVER first half probably not a bad call.

Interestingly, my forecast has USC beating Cal by about a touchdown, maybe 10 points...41-31.
I make a public gauge there as well. It says USC wins 44-34.
But the line is 19.5 and I see action on Cal from a few angles, sort of. A couple of probable wide receivers as far as injuries so not much there.
I don't see why this line has been bought up from 13 to over 20 at one point. These Pac games tend to be close. So with even that general knowledge this line appears tasty.
Psychology is important and what someone is thinking when they see a line makes all the difference in the world. This is not an angle but just a little bit of thinking out loud.
Sometimes everyone gets paid, could USC lose to Cal? Something tells me different. Something tells me USC beats this shit out them, at least to the point of covering the spread, and maybe killing some teasers on the underdog side.

Scores early in a quarter tend to signal a change in momentum, more for Totals than sides. We haven't seen a lot of points like I hoped but if Tenn can get a TD early in the second there's a little bit of hope.
As the rest of the games develop I see USC -19.5 (-105) over Cal as the way to go.

Second half total of 20.5 forcing the player to go over 47.5 probably going to end up as 21 forcing the 48.
Value dropping out of the total bet but I still see it as viable as a tease could still get killed tonight.

The fact is, the second half can go UNDER the posted halftime total but the game can still go OVER 43.5.
Yet another reason, or type of value, that is dwindled for the bet. It's a sort of intrinsic value that can be measured regarding full game lines and half time. Not so much live, the vig kills the edge.
