Everyone pretty freaked out here in Boston, I feel like most of my coworkers just went the fukk home when word started to get around. I was personally freaked because of the reports of unexploded bombs and cops checking suspicious packages on the subway and everywhere else. Some of the subway is shut down but not my way home, so I'm good so far.


Anyway, this sucks. Still, the worst part will be everyone looking to assign blame and identify causes and seek solutions. I see it more simply: There are always going to be misguided people, along with just plain old sociopaths, always have and always will. You take this and mourn and move on. No need to politicize it or carry forward any hating. What does that gain?
