Been twice in the past 6 months. Once for fun and once for a business trip last week. With that said, my business conference was only three days and I stay until Sunday....6 days is a long time in Vegas.

Couple of friends got married and went out there for the honeymoon and had intended on doing the whole "Vegas" wedding as well so myself and a few of their other friends went out there as well. Obviously with them just getting married, I kinda left them to enjoy their honeymoon for a lot of the time, maybe meeting up for a couple hours round lunchtime and meeting again to go out for a meal/show/club etc in the nights, so ultimately I spent of lot of my time there on my own - and enjoyed every minute.
Was nice to be able to just do my own thing without really worrying about other people getting bored - spent most of my afternoons sat at a sports bar, cheering on whatever teams I had bets on and chatting to whoever was around, which mostly seemed to be people who had picked up on my british accent and were surprised that I even understood how a hockey or baseball game worked !
I can see how it can look quite sad going somewhere on your own, some places you visit and if you are sat in a bar for a few hours on your own people seem to think something is wrong with you - but if anything I would say that Vegas is arguably the best possible place to go if you are on your own as everyone seems to be doing their own thing and you just get chatting to people so easily...Comment -
Going to Vegas alone can be +EV if you're just there to watch sports and gamble. During football season there are plenty of people to BS with and talk sports/gambling. I've gone with friends before who aren't sportsbook gamblers and it's annoying. I will tell them I'm going to place a few bets at the sports book and drink. They come and get me after a bit and want to walk around and overpay for drinks and food. Fukk that, see you after the Pac-12 games, pal. I'm drinking for free.

I also want to add.... 2 girls approached me while I was on the cell. Absolutely came out of nowhere. I wasn't drunk... wasn't lit up or anything. It was one white girl and one black... I was just outside Caesars... walking to Mirage... She goes "Hey! You need some company? Because me and my friend need someone to hang with." Now remind you... I'm still on the phone.. and startled... it was a business call actually. All I said was No thanks and laughed. She goes... are you sure? I said yep... Honestly... never had a hooker before... but let me tell you something... they were both around 5'4'' 115 lbs. C Tits... absolutely beautiful both the white girl and black... and it was only 3:30 PM in daylight! I was so surprised... But what would they charge me??? Never hooked up with a hooker before? And let me tell you.... they didn't even look like hookers... they looked like anyone else. They were both dressed presentable... not too slutty.. but the goods were hanging out. I love Vegas when i stay away from the Strip.I stay at either the Southpoint and Fiesta Henderson Vegas is way to touristy.I tried to walk the strip too many people harassing me and my wife flicking cards at me bums on every corner Deginerates on every block cant stomach the strip i like to drive down the strip at night but thats it.Back on topic Vegas stinks now buy yourself u need to go with a bunch of freinds especially married ones so you can check out the women So many Hotties in Vegas now not like the 80s and early 90s when i was young going there.It just more fun with a group,I used to go by myself but that was just to play the horses before simalcasting took off.Vegas sucks by yourself.Comment -

better to go by yourself you dont have to keep tabs on anyone, no one keeps tabs on you. Can stay out as late as you want with no one hasseling you. People will come up to you and give you props saying oh i couldnt do that or ask you why are you by yourself and can make up some stupid stuff to make girls feel sorry for you then bang em.

Vegas alone on pleasure becomes a new frontier for those who lack dik control...no girlfriend to monitor you when you go to the casino cash phone or advance on your 5th card...not to mention hookers, but beware the hookers are top $$$ in Vegas - often 5x the going rate in big cities, especially on the strip..They will try to take advantage of inebriated souls. Take a buddy, at the very least, just to make sure you don't end up an urban myth like the guy who met the chick got drugged and had his kidney removed..Comment -
