RIP Jack Klugman and Charles Durning
Remember watching The Odd Couple with my old man.
Oscar was a degenerate gambler like many of us as well as a skirt chasing fool.

Durning was a hell of a supporting character actor.

I would be willing to wager more than 75% of the SBR posters have NO CLUE who these two guys are.
I guess you have to be born before 1980 to know them.

Durning was unbelievable in "Sharkey`s Machine" All movie long just screaming and throwing up his hands in discust @ Burt.

Rachel Ward was 1 sick POA back then.

            Best film Burt ever directed

Klugman was great. Loved the Odd Couple, and Quincy was a very good show as well.

Drink, thanks for the points. Maybe I am an ignorant fukk, but I don`t envision any scenario where I would spend my time looking for ways to use points. I wish I could give all mine away to someone I tailed and actually won $.

Jack Klugman was one of a kind. I don't think I ever missed an episode of "Quincy, M.E." Great actor and man.

I was roommates with a guy in college. We called ourselves the odd couple....he was "Oscar" and I was "Felix" (he was a mess and I was the neat one).....and this was in the mid 80s. I was like 5, 6, 7 years old but I loved that show. Liked the theme song too. RIP

i think he owned a few racehorses.
always picture him with the baseball hat on backwards fist clinching a program.
