Science is not a point of view. Its not an opinion. Its research build on data, tested and evaluated over years/decades.

There will always be debate about the school curriculum. And should be. But making laws from a political perspective that ban discussion of some subjects is the thin edge of an evil wedge.

I agree. Politicians shouldnt change school curriculum to fit their agenda.
Sometimes we need to take a risk and fight for the right to hold an opinion we disagree with if we want to be free.

Again I completely agree. But this doesnt mean I want junk science taught in school.

You aren't making a very persuasive argument. I think even you can agree there are some things that shouldn't be taught to children. We don't teach them how the best way to club baby seals to death. That doesn't mean they can't learn about it. We don't tell them the best way to build a home-made bomb, where to place it to cause the maximum amount of damage and we certainly don't build bombs in shop class. That doesn't mean they can't learn about explosives.

CRT states that racism is embedded in society in such a way that it deliberately advantages Whites at the expense of non-Whites. You can spin it all you want but that is what CRT is. They believe that its the duty of White people to tear down the systems in society in order to alleviate the social and racial injustices from the past. This is why they tear down statues of George Washington and Lincoln. They will call out those who refuse to capitulate by incorrectly insinuating they are perpetuating a racist system. Which of course is utter nonsense. This is why Black scholars call CRT nonsense and a lie.

Another reason is because teachers will bring students to the front of the class and have the While child apologize to the non-White classmates for their skin color. They teach White students to hate themselves for the color of their skin. CRT is racism and racism shouldn't be taught to students.

No one is saying not to teach history. That means the good and the bad. They have been forever. This is completely different.

Dwight's statement regarding Critical Race Theory (CRT) contains many misunderstandings and inaccuracies about its teachings and aims. CRT is a framework that seeks to understand how racism, especially white supremacy, is woven into the fabric of our society and how it perpetuates racial inequalities. This is done in order to challenge and dismantle these systemic barriers, not to perpetuate racism.

It is important to note that suppressing the voices and ideas of Black communities has been a long and persistent feature of conservatism throughout history. For example, in the 19th century, conservative politicians and media outlets actively suppressed the ideas and voices of Black abolitionists and advocated for the preservation of slavery. In the Jim Crow era, conservative politicians and courts upheld segregation and disenfranchisement of Black Americans, while suppressing Black political activism through terror and violence.

Similarly, in recent years, conservative politicians and media outlets have suppressed the Black Lives Matter movement and sought to undermine the efforts to address systemic racism and police brutality. In this context, it becomes clear that the criticisms of CRT from certain conservative quarters are not rooted in a genuine concern for protecting students from harmful ideas, but rather in a desire to maintain the status quo of white supremacy and preserve the existing power structures that benefit white people at the expense of Black people.

Therefore, it is imperative that we teach students about CRT and its insights into the history and present-day realities of systemic racism, in order to equip them with the tools to challenge and change these oppressive structures.

Was that supposed to be a rebuttal to the line you bolded in my post? "making laws from a political perspective that ban discussion of some subjects is the thin edge of an evil wedge"

No wonder you are not persuaded. You don't appear to even understand the point if your reply is "CRT is bad so I dont care about a politician acting like big brother and deciding on thought control".
