Is Garrett Adelstein the best Cash Game player going right now?

Have watched a lot of Garrett video. Guy is awfully good. So good at actions across multiple streets.

Maybe at NL holdem. Probably not at Omaha and other games.

He's incredibly good at NL Hold 'em ring games from what I've seen. I've watched a ton of his hands on Youtube. He's put in several tough river spots and seems to make the right decision a freakishly high amount. It's like Mike Postle except you can tell he's not cheating
He still gets it wrong sometimes, but it's always understandable. Definitely feels like he has some of the best instincts out there

LATB is a super soft game with tons of fish all the time.

Is he a great player? Absolutely. Is he in my top 10 cash game players? Definitely not.

    Online players would destroy him.

Does Garrett even play online? Not as far as I know. And I definitely don't think any online player would destroy him live

Nearly every televised live game I've ever seen in my life is soft with fish. That's why they exist. I'm still yet to see anyone in the last 5 years consistently crush the decision-making like Garrett Adelstein

    Respect, Crush.

    A few things about LATB:
    1) The producers go out of their way to put some FINE-looking women in the lineup. Who cares about the cards? LOL.
    2) I have one basic stance on profiting in Cash games. To do it over time, your OPPONENTS must have deep pockets. OR the pool must get replenished with deep-pocket players. Otherwise, the $$ dries up quickly.

Yes, I meant NL HoldEm specifically. You are absolutely right. Garrett is like 90% of Postle...except without the live feed.

It's amazing that he knows where he is in the hand...maybe 90% of the time. OK, maybe not that often.

The decisions he makes across streets are pretty awesome:
    1) If he has Super-nuts vs 2nd-nuts...he is going to drain his opponent (on a hand OPP can't fold).
    2) I've seen him make river folds that are impossible. Hands like bottom Full House. He just knows OPP can't be bluffing.
    3) Also think his Hero Call EV has to be +$. This is arguably a spot where most players get crushed. When he sizes up his opponent, he gets this right more than the required proportional %.

Doug Polk aka "WCTRider" but I have a thing for long winded blowhards.

He's never had more than 2-3 pros at any table he's sat in at LATB. I haven't watched some of these other streams there are now like Hustler Live or w/e it's called. But he's in cherrypicked lineups. Again- he's very very good. Definitely an Elite talent. But his best trait is that he's a likeable person. That's the type that get into these private games with wealthy businessmen. They don't mind losing their money to him because he's not a human calculator that runs sims and memorizes solver outputs.

good but playing easy competition for the most part

like crusher says he is at least as good as making the game enjoyable as he is at playing

they like playing with him even though he always beats them, which is pretty hard to do

you could sub him for a lot of other players and they would have it easy in that game too

I feel like that hustler stream used to have much better players and now it's garrett crushing a soft lineup once or twice a week.

Andy that played on there is in Asia or something. I think he is supposed to be back soon. There was a few others that didn't play so bad but I haven't seen them in months.

Gal that was in that game is apparently going to get time for an illegal book making operation

    Andy is also very good.

I feel like Garrett would be a winner in almost any game he played in.

Anyone know what happened to the bike stream? I don’t think they’ve had a new one for a while.
