Salud Boys. Took a SMALL loss yesterday, would have actually been a winning day had Oregon not pulled every decent player they had off the field in the 2nd half...score 50 in the 1st half, 7 in the 2nd?!?

Anyway, Onto today...going to explore Charlevoix, Michigan, then Mackinac Island. Never been this far north in Michigan before and its BEAUTIFUL! Though i can't imagine what its like here in the winter!

Thanks to opie for the inspiration to come here and the suggestions. Pearls restaurant in Elk Rapids was fantastic and Torch Lake is beyond compare!

so onto today's winners....will be on the road, but i have my trusty EVO 4G LTE with me to watch the scores and update you fine people all day.

charlevoix can be wicked in the winter. my families condo is right pass the drawbridge and sometime there is so much snow, we cant even make it to town. watching the ice chunks in lake michigan is incredible.

Some of that is true but mostly in Detroit/Flint area. I live on west side of state and work in automotive and its nearly impossible to find skilled trade/ engineering level workers because of like you said alot of people left in 09. Were growing right now more than ever just added an expansion that doubled are manufacturing space(been there 15 years). All the companies that sent production to China/Mexico are realizing how bad of an idea it was and bringing stuff back to the states.
