1.5 point movement towards vandy? Any reason everybody jumping on vandy late... I don't see how vandy will hang with SC...

Don't ask questions, let the line lean towards Vandy, take SC late and run!

Though I'm gonna beat that under like a dead horse...you can't miss on the under, trust me

Bookmaker opened at 4 went to 7.5 now at 6. Public has been all over SC, someone put some big money on Vandy the last couple days.

Got mine today at Bookmaker for 6, never saw it at 4. Oh well 6 is good enough for me. It pains me to say it but, GO COCKS!!!

Took USC 1H but just can't pull the trigger on the full game spread.....Vandy's notorious for those home game heroics to make it close in the final quarter especially with the playmaking ability of the QB this year.

Im looking at the Vegas Insider link above and see where Bookmaker had it at -5 on Aug 2 at 4:44 PM and by 5:39 PM, not even an hour later, it went up to -6.5 and to -7 on Aug 10. You really think that was the public pounding that line at the beginning of August?

The public has been putting money on Vandy the last couple of days as the media continues to hype this game in Vandy's favor and Coach Franklin himself hyping the game calling it Vandy's superbowl.

I like SC in this game, but my only hesitation is the Vandy WR's against the Gamecocks secondary.

For that to matter a lot, they'll have to have time to get downfield.

They won't. People are underestimating how USC's huge advantage with their dline vs Vandy's oline is going to cover their apparent weakness in the secondary. Rodgers will be running for his life.

I here ya Hubie, it concerns me too. I do know its tough to throw accurate passes when you are being pressured and I expect Jadeveon Clowney, Byron Jerideau, Kelcy Quarles, and Devin Taylor to be able to get in the Vandy backfield and cause havoc. The Vandy O-line has improved but so has our D-line.

Also, DC Ellis Johnson left the program last year for Southern Miss. and Johnson's right hand man Lorenzo Ward was promoted to the spot. That being said there is no scheme change on D, they are running the same 4-2-5 but Ward does like to blitz more often than Johnson did. Johnson was a bend don't break kind of guy. Ward coached the D and called the plays for the Capital One Bowl against Nebraska resulting in a 30 - 13 SC win. Nebraska had 253 total yards, 137 yards rushing on 46 attempts, and was 3/13 on 3rd down.

Vandy + 7 for me; they bring back a lot from a solid team last year. Not to mention the nice pedigree at QB.

As always, BOL to all tonight,

                                    Under is a lock.

Run, run, run the clock down. South Carolina is going to do that all game. 45 points is where it stands, and I would take it at 40. Leaning toward SC at 6.5.
