                      I live on the border and there's usually a $1.40 difference/gallon. 2 bridge fairs = $6. Cheaper for Canadians to drive over, fill up and return.

                      Alcohol is roughly 40-50% cheaper in the US. Border guards won't write you up for buying a 12 pack.

                      Grocery essentials (milk, eggs, flour, sugar, juice etc.) are about 25-30% cheaper in the US.

                      Fill up gas tank - save $15
                      Fill up 10g jerry can - save $12
                      Buy 12 pack - save $10
                      Buy some groceries - save $5
                      Savings after bridge fairs + $4 in gas = $32

                            I once had my car xrayed at the border by US customs. Treated me kindly, I didn't have anything illegal so I was good to go.
