If I deposit $500 into BetDSI, will I be eligible for BTP contest and become SBR PRO?
Got to be honest in that I'm confused on how to become a PRO anymore. I used to be that status but have not been able to renew. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

If American, 200 bones to charity is the only way.

Yeah, If US resident you may want to deposit $300 in dsi and $200 into the SBR charity and then you are good to go. SBR is also letting former Pro's use points to reup, but have not announced how many points you would need yet. For existing Pro's it's 2750 points to renew.

In the US now it only charity or 2,750 points. I like the points idea but fewer choices is not good idea either. It sure would be nice to have more options as a US player. That may change with a ruling I heard recently about poker. That would be great if you can be a pro from poker in the future. That may be down the line which would be nice.

As said above, no US member may turn pro through a sports book. Your options are with pts or here shown on the application page.

The only way you can use points is if you're renewing a membership... not for your first time.
If you've never been a Pro before like TheGambler, your only option is charity as listed in your Pro app if you're a US resident.

As yours has been expired for 7+ mths you'll need to email gopro@sbrforum.com as the price will be higher although I don't think it's been determined yet. 2750 is for people who don't let their membership lapse.

The 2750 is for an ontime renewal. In other words renewing before your current upgrade expires. Which every Pro can avail themselves to at this point. We are looking at a higher price point for those who allow their upgrade to expire. Probably in the 3200 range.

Your membership expired 7mths ago dude. That's closer to a year than not.
Shari, I have quick question. When will my pro membership expire. I remember SBR saying something bout a year free when they switched everything to charity. If I renewed at the end of last year, does my free year start at the end of this year???

Click on the Pro App in my signature. When you try to select something it'll say you can't because it doesn't expire until xxx

You can enter the BTP contest by just signing up at BetDSI, no deposit needed. Play at a better book.
