Guy cant even make the majors so how can he be considered best anything? He wouldnt get on base enough to do shit, and he isnt running against 40 yar old wash outs or 20 year old retards in the majors, and the catchers behind the plate can actually throw the ball to a base unlike the goons playing in the minors.

If Ricky Henderson or Lou Brock stayed in the minors they would have had about 500 stolen bases in a season.

yeah but in my experience if you have a team that is in contention and you have a weapon good enough to help they get called up. Unless Cinci thinks they dont need him or something.

yeah, he's not on the 40 man roster yet. To bring him up they have to drop (DFA) someone.

He's 21 a HS draftee, just called up to AA

you don't rush a guy through the levels and risk stunting their development when you have a commanding lead in your division.

I do think after Sept 1 they will make room on their roster and bring him up when the rosters expand to 40.

but there is NO reason to waste a 25 man roster spot for pinch running a day before that.

He's fast, but not a great base stealer. He just goes on everything, if he would learn to watch pitchers and know when to go, he'd be a lot better. He gets to the majors with some real catchers and pitchers with a good pick off move, and he'll turn into a liability.
