He is erratic and wild. Good stuff! Even in AAA he had run out if chances as a starter almost and they were going to move him to the bullpen but his last start ended up being the no hitter. Keep in mind this is a one time start for him as the pirates used two starters yesterday out of the pen in the 19 inning affair

Tough to back anyone with that lack of command. No way he gets deep into a game without getting hung out to dry.

If that Pirate pen is shot and he walks a bunch of batters he could be in for a fukkin long night.

I'm reading that Kevin Correia could still be the starter despite having pitched in relief yesterday. Maybe they will give 4-5 innings, 70 pitches or so, then start bringing in relievers?

anyone know what the deal is with Watson? guy hasn't pitched and they didn't use him yesterday. must have some minor injury

That's quite the gamble backing the Bucs:

1) Wilson ***might*** rise to the occasion but he can just as easily falter. Also, every mlb hitter hates getting owned by a guy fresh out of AAA.

2) As we all know, the Bucs went 19 innings yesterday and travelved from St. Louis to San Diego. That's alot of residual fatigue.

3) The Pads are enjoying the role of playing spoiler and (I think) they want to collect as many Ws against teams like the Bucs. Look how well they did against the Reds. The Pads are up for this one.

I'm staying away from this card (with a lean on the Pads). BOL to everyone else.
