But you can cap by looking at lineups and recent matchups. At least you can check to see if the teams best player is playing or not. Hell you can even check to see how the starting pitcher has been hes last few starts. Especially against teams with good lineups. If you did you would see Nova shut down a bluejays AAA lineup and got lit up vs tigers. HERES NOVAS LAST 10 STARTS. notice any trends there? Well if you cant see he gets hit by great lineups and shutdowns the weaker ones. Then you shouldnt be betting.

Obviously there are good pitchers out there that shut down great lineups all the time. I just worded it wrong. thats it. Its not like you have CC pitching today. Why would you take nova the way hes pitching with AROD CANO GRANDERSON all not playing. But the way novas pitching i wouldnt trust him against a good lineup. Look at the 3 lineups he faced in his last 10 that hit him well...

He actually didnt pitch to bad today but knowing nova the way i do it was rangers or nothing. Especially without cano and granderson.
