He is in a contract year.

Meaning, a free agent next year.

yes I believe contract years ARE huge motivations. but a career year by far and almost 36? and a catcher at 36?

Mike Piazza's best career numbers as a Catcher was back in the Dodger days. He did well as a Met, but big difference as he was getting older. AJ should of have better numbers with the Giants. Squatting for 2hrs for every game does make the body weak. He has to be on something

Tons of players taking HGH during the season. There was an article in SI a few months back stating that as high as 70% of pitchers are on it.
