Chad Johnson arrested for domestic violence after allegedly head-butting wife

As big of a goofball as Chad Johnson is, the one thing he has always been quick to point out is that he’s never been in trouble with the law. Call him a distraction, a loudmouth, or whatever, but the guy wasn’t getting arrested like his NFL counterparts. Until now.


Davie Police Department captain Dale Engle confirmed to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel that Johnson was arrested on Saturday night for domestic violence.


The Sun-Sentinel reports that Johnson head-butted wife Evelyn Lozada during an argument on Saturday night. When police arrived on the scene, Lozada reportedly had lacerations on her forehead and Johnson was arrested.


The two were married on July 4 and have had a public relationship. Both have starred in reality TV shows.
