They might have one world series...but they won it 2 years back....that means the team is still good. They have a very good chance to win another one this year....just watch.

They have one of the best starting pitching in the league...and add to that a decent batting lineup...they are better than the team which won world series.

I think it's really unlikely that Penny would be moved into the starting rotation. Timmy is bad right now, but Penny has looked pretty bad himself coming out the pen for the Giants so far. What they really should do is use a four-man rotation and keep a tighter cap on everyone's pitch count, but nobody has the guts to try that anymore.

I agree about Schierholtz. Underrated hitter with one of the best right fielder cannons in baseball.
