By the way, Ian Kennedy has an ERA of over 7 now in five career games against the Cubs.

Last report I saw said Cubs were offering to pay 45 mil of the 48 left and still no takers.

The guy is one of the worst playoff hitters in baseball history statistically so that is part of the reason contenders really don't want to touch him.

      He's the anti-Reggie Jackson.

Imagine going to the game and getting there at 1 PM CDT.

You can expect to get home at around 8:30 or so.

Aren't there some teams out there that could use his services as a DH in the AL?

Gave away two during the first few innings to a guy wearing an IU cap, but I still have 21 of them!

Problem is, if you are battling for a playoff spot and you get sorry, you know he will get shut down in the playoffs if he helps you make it.

His postseason numbers aren't great as a whole, but he had a couple good series back in the AL.
