Brought to you by the SBR Sportsbook. Personally I think Robinson Cano has the best value on the board, he's just got the right stuff to get the job done. Who do you think has value?

Will most likely take the NL to win with these odds. It can go either way and in these situations I like to take the dogs as they represent good value.

I'm thinking AL. NL doesn't have real power guys.

In the AL you have Fielder and Bautista, monsters.

If Stanton were in it, it'd make a big difference.

^ to clarify, a healthy Matt Kemp is an elite all-around hitter, but he doesn't have the kind of pure power that guys like Joey Bats, Stanton, and Fielder do.

The NL doesn't have a lot of big time power these days with all the hitters flooding to the NL, but what about Votto, Jay Bruce, or Ryan Braun? Even Justin Upton. Any of those guys would be an upgrade.

Don't sleep on Trumbo, he has the longest average distance on his homers of any of the other contestants this year by a pretty good margin and has a pretty easy swing. Should be able to maintain his mechanics into the later rounds a little better than some of the contestants with more violent swings.

Cano has great value because his father throws the balls perfectly. Huge edge IMO, they've been doing it together for ages.

                        Trumbo wins tonight.

Fielder and bautista swing too violently and will tire out after round 1

Kemp has leg issues and that's where power comes from

McCutchen isn't big enough and will have to swing too hard and tire out

Cargo will chase some bad pitches for easy outs

Beltran has a nice easy swing for this with some good power...gonna be a good competitor

Obviously Cano has a good chance to win but being able to repeat is gonna be too hard.

Plus I like what more_betterness said earlier about his average distance and easy swing so he wont tire out as quickly

                        Trumbo +600

I feel like as long as Cano has his father pitching, he'll continue to run this derby. Pun intended.

                                          Agreed, but heres the difference..
Trumbo is a rookie when it comes to anything like this. Never been in a high pressure situation, per say.
Beltran knows the city, stadium, can bat lefty or righty, and has that beautiful solid swing with loft this season.

It's not about power and distance (Bautista), it's about a swing that translates, can be consistent, and doesn't tire out...

I can see Beltran performing/winning like Garrett Anderson, Bobby Abreu, or Josh Hamilton - not about power, it's about the swing. Beltran's my pick

trumbo should have more stamina, i think whoever goes 1st and 2nd have a huge disadvantage with a long wait

Damn Trumbo could have made it a good night if he made the final. Only had $20 on Prince to win $100. Though happy he did beat Joey Bats or it would have been a $270 loss on this shit contest.

Betting AL tomorrow for sure though.
