There is a politics forum here. You guys love saloon'ing threads well start politicking threads.

Politics are divisive, and makes most people blood boil. I click my PT bookmark to get away from real world shit. I don't want to look at 15 threads on the first page about politics.

No place for them in PT

My stance is that mods should focus on combining threads with the same topic (i.e. all the health care threads) instead of moving them.

That alone removes the clutter, and allows for good debate for those who seek it.

PT has always been the melting pot. If it loses that completely many posters may lose interest. And not everyone wants to jump all over the place to discuss different topics.

This is a godam gamblin forum. I dont want to see stupid threads about Obama, Romney or the Supreme court in Players Talk. Posters that start off-topic threads in PT need to receive infractions and have points taken away.

first of all, you are over-stating the importance of this decision, but regardless, thats one day, or one extraordinary event. It's every day here PT gets hammered with political threads.

PT really is the forum, which is why I don't want to see thread titles in the vein of "OBAMA IS A RETART SECRET MOOSLIM" and "MONKEY BOYS CANT THROW THE BALL" on the front page.

This is simple to me.

People on this forum are gamblers, a.k.a players. This is a forum titled players talk. A forum for players to talk in its purest. It is the formation of the saloon that fukked it up.

If you gamble, i.e. are a player, and have a topic to discuss - than there is no reason not to share it here.

Mods need to stop being anal retentive and realize sub-forums do their job.

Either make players talk and the saloon one and the same, or shut them both down and keep it to only sub-forums.
