All the momentum in the world is on Miami's side. They'll play with a ton of urgency because they don't want game 6 and 7 in OKC
Miami has a huge psychological advantage here. Same thing as OKC when they won game 6 at home vs SAComment -

#13I went all in on Miami +160.
It's too damn easy. You gotta make the finals and lose then you can win the next year.

#14Going to take OKC series, then hedge in game 7. Guaranteed money.
Anyone know Vegas OKC series prices? I'm guessing they're +220?Comment -

#15It would be a perfect scenario to win the championship in Miami.

okc is +395 at 5dimes and higher elsewhere if u shop im sure.
not to mention u could save urself some money by NOT hedging and just parlaying game 5 and 6 in an open parlay..

Expected lines Game 5 - +140 OKC ml / Game 6 Okc -250ml (-4 to 5 spread) / Game 7 Okc -145ml (-2.5/3 - same line miami has now basically would be game 7 imo) / miami +135 ml
If u bet 100 @ +395 right now with plans to hedge game 7. u would have 100 to win 395 active and would be hedging game 7.
if u bet 210 on Miami +135 = $283 - 100(loss from +395 bet) = 183 profit if miami wins OR
if OKC WINS its +395 - 210 (loss on hedge)= ......................................= $185 profit if OKC wins
If u do the open parlay u have the following.
+140 Game 5 okc and -250 Game 6 OKC ml
$100 parlay with those figures pays +$236.. so 50$ more than if u hedge in ur scenario above that u plan to do.
along same lines..
u should do the same thing if u LIKE OKC to win it all.. better than +395 (best line out there currently to win) is to open parlay all 3 ml's
+140/-250/-145 100 risk = +$467.. so u really can get thunder +467 right now by doing it this way

#27MJ and the Bulls had the same thought in 1998 Finals vs the Jazz. His Bulls were up 3-1, having won 3 straight, including 2 on their home court, ready to deliver the knockout in Gm 5 in Chicago. But the games best player, MJ did not deliver and Jazz won Gm 5 and took the series back to Utah. Alas, MJ said fuk it in Gm 6, giving a nice hand chuck to B.Russell and the Bulls closed series out in 6 in Utah.
Gm 5 take OKC ML
Gm 6 take Mia MLComment -

#29Thanks stash, but I'm betting more that it'll go to game 7 than OKC winning. I'm buying OKC at +395 because it's a good price, and if it goes to 7 games, it's guaranteed money.
But thanks for showing the math. Good stuff.Comment -

#30No reason for me to do much with game today. Locked Heat in before series started and again after game 1. Will likely play some props and if it makes it back to okc I could consider hedging.Comment -

I am so disappointed that you didn't give one of your "sure thing" series bets on the Finals?
I kept asking for your opinion but you never showed up.
Oh, now you like Miami at -150. Why didn't you like Miami at +160 or +240?
I guess we won't be hearing from Brahma in the future about "sure thing" NBA series bets.
