It would be more tolerable if they fell, hoped for foul, then got up again. It's the crying and moaning and rolling around, faking injury, then 2 seconds later being 100%. At least that does not exist in the NBA.

In the NBA flopping decides a lot more games than in soccer. It's rewarded all the time. No need to embellish. No doubt soccer has become softer over the years. Not sure why. You should have seen the cracking tackling in the 1970's. The ball is much lighter too. Almost every shot from outside of the box flies over the bar with this beach ball. There's a point where a ball is 'supposed' to dip, but this thing continues to rise instead. I've never seen such poor quality soccer, for Euro or WC, as in this tournament. Very hard to watch.

so you have an injured or fake injured player on the grass rolling around wasting
precious time - to not have the clock stop in this situation is beyond excruciating
and so is needing a goal in soccer and watching it on tv. Yes I had Russia and I'm pssed. I suppose I made my annual donation to this stupid sport.

I'm not sure why soccer fans get so defensive of their sport. It shows an insecurity. Lots of people think baseball is boring, I don't give a shit b/c I love it and I know it is the hardest sport in the world to excel at. Science has even proven this.

Anyway, most soccer athletes are small guys, wouldn't even be able to play in the NBA, NFL, MLB... just kind of how it goes. I guess it appeals to some people because of that.

I dont defend the NBA players, just saying it happens very rarely if ever compared to soccer. Happens 15-20 times a game in soccer. Happens maybe one in 50 in NBA (not diving, faking serious injury). And you won't ever see it in MLB/NHL.

However, it's the only clip you'll find of an NBA player faking injury compared to the dozens of times in every game in soccer. Sure the NBA has their floppers but very few injury fakers.
