At MGM Grand these guys were touting their "sure fire picks" and dropping $10,000 per game during Championship Week in college basketball and they all got buried.

BigD there is a big rally going on in downtown Seattle today trying to bring the Sonics back. I can't wait until we get a team and play your Thunder. Sounds like we could be getting a team soon. News came out yesterday that their is an investment group of Steve Balmer (Microsoft CEO), The Nordstrom brothers (owners of Nordstroms Department Stores) and Chris Hansen (some rich young guy) who are going to try real hard to build an arena and bring a team here. Apparently there are more people at the Sonics rally than there will be at the Mariners game.
Arena should get built very soon, just waiting on approval from city council members. Now it's just whether a team can move here or if we can get an expansion team.

Thank you. 13th biggest market in America, yet we don't have a team......I feel very confident that the NBA will be back in Seattle by 2015.

That's what I'm thinking. I'm not very familiar with the situation down in Sacramento, but last I heard is that the Maloofs are pissing everyone off: the fans of Sacramento, the Mayor Kevin Johnson, and now the commissioner David Stern. They agreed with the city to an arena deal back on March 1, but a month later they said they refuse to pay a very small portion (I think it is like 3 million). Sacramento looks like it is going down the same road that Seattle went down a few years ago.

It's true. Sharps are not allowed to bet 10 dimes to 20 dimes at the Wynn book on NBA games. From what I understand if you come in unknown from out of nowhere they will allow you to bet, but if you prove to be a winner they will not take your action (unless you are blowing money in the rest of the casino).
Have to go across the street to Palazzo for that sort of action.

I hope you all realize places like Wynn don't sweat the sports action unless they are bleeding money regularly. Wynn isn't.

I know it sucks, but **** it, i'm greedy. If I went through the pain of losing the Sonics, someone else can go through the pain of losing their team.
