Just got a call from YouWager. Yesterday I got a call from I wanna say BetOnline. Can't remember.

I hung up on whoever called yesterday, wasn't in the mood.

Youwager offering 30% fp on 500 + deposit, 20% on all other deposits. Plus, you get 1000 loyalty pts (equivalent to a $30 freeplay). I didn't even think to ask what the rollover was, since not planning on depositing, but just a heads up.

Youwager paid me real fast when I took money off. Solid book, but I'm a bonus whore, not convinced 30% is enough for me.

Nah, I didn't care. Was kinda funny. I like toying with the sales people and letting them give me their pitch. Guy is gonna follow up w/ me on Friday so that I don't miss this special offer.

That sort of marketing stops pretty abruptly once you get profiled as a winner.

Wait, you don't want to win at gambling, so that when you deposit, you get some extra money to lose back to the bookie? This is one of the more bizarre statements I've heard on SBR (and that's saying something), so I'll give you a chance to restate your sentiments before responding in greater depth.

I've made $6800 profit since November... I have tracked most deposits/made cashout videos for proof that I have been winning. I don't want to be PROFILED as a winner. I didn't say I didn't want to win. If Books want to continue to give me 80% or more freeplays and let me grind rollovers, I would be much obliged.

I understand what you're saying, but the fact that books are still giving you such generous bonuses indicates that they're convinced that your recent run of success is the result of variance, and not +EV wagering. So they're giving you free money because they're willing to wager that you're going to lose it all back and more, because they see it happen to ~95% of their clients. That's what not being profiled as a winner means, not that you're incapable of winning over shorter periods of time, but that your methods demonstrate a high probability of giving it all back in the future.

And you still don't want to be profiled as a winner?

I'm confused why you would want a book to profile you as a winner if you aren't a shill for them... Winners don't get bonuses and they get stricter limits than profiled losers. I'm very erratic in my bets, I'll be the first to tell you that. I guess i'm just failing to understand the benefits of a book thinking you're sharp?

To Hawley, I never deposit more than $500... so I'd have to go broke on 14 straight deposits by the end of 2012 to end up negative on the year. Hope that's not likely.

Nobody wants to be profiled as a winner, but it's unavoidable once you start applying an effective, quantitative methodology to your wagering. In layman's terms, once you start beating the closing line more often than it beats you over a large sample size, the book is going to know that you know what you're doing. That's why pros end up using beards and have to funnel a greater amount of their volume through full juice shops which are more tolerant of sharp action.

The reason why this isn't necessarily a bad thing is because you're no longer relying on pure luck to generate your winnings, you're using your brain.

Yeah, I can see what you're saying. I've been getting better at beating the closing line lately, so that's a plus. Unfortunately, these bubblegum books don't post lines until late so it is definitely harder to be the closing line than it would be if I were on a book such as 5Dimes (and not being a bonus whore!)

Something about the rollover grind entices me. Not too sure what, but i'm sucked in.

Get a number through something like google voice to use for sportsbooks... Problem solved...

                                                    Do books share info?

I have never gotten a call from a site where I've ever deposited but I get calls from places I've registered for a variety of reasons including entering contests here.

Betisland and another...I think legends have called me in the last two days. Call me from a toll free number or blocked number and zero chance I answer.
