This wasn't that bad of a beat. Cubs probably go up 5-0 if Soriano doesn't get caught on the fake to 3rd throw to 1st. Maholm is better than Max this year. Not sure the angle on the play.

Coke hasn't thrown that many pitches since he was a starter 12 months ago, and Leyland has a bullpen coming off a rest day. I'm inclined to place some blame on Leyland here

joaquin benoit should have been brought in for coke when reed johnson was called in to pinch hit for marmol, its a simple 8th inning move that more than half the managers in the league would make. and on more than half the occasions, reed johnson wouldnt reach base and none of peraltas errors would have mattered.

I put another K on the Tigers tonight. Do not give a fuk. Fuk them. I have two other large bets going on D'backs and White Sox and if I lose all 3 I am out, but if I win all 3 I am right back in the mix. It's large gamble, but sometimes you have to do that.
