No, don't sweat it. 100 free is his 5th-6th best event I would say.

Actually, I'm surprised they're even putting him on the relay. Matt Grevers split a 47.5 this morning, so if it wasn't Lochte anchoring, it would be Grevers who is still very fast. So this doesn't change much.

What I'm more worried about for the Australians is James Roberts' (relatively) sluggish 48.2 split.... Race could be slightly closer than we thought.

I was pretty alarmed by how slow Roberts went in prelims but Magnussen splitting a 48? Just unreal!!!

BTW, Lochte split slower than Grevers did. I knew Lochte being there wouldn't make USA stronger....

Don't know where it leaves James but he looked a crushed man, the odds for him NOT to win the 100 free are still +125, i probably won't bet on it because it would make me feel dirty, but if I wasn't from Australia I'd consider that a steal. It'll be lower come race time I'm almost certain ...

Interesting that you can now get Rebecca Soni at +158 to win the 100 Breaststroke tomorrow. You can take the field at +180 (5dimes) to win over Meilutyte. I'll be on that...

If Sun Yang wins tomorrow and then gets gold in the 800 and 1500 (4 individual golds) how impressive would that be?

I'll be really impressed if he wins the 200 free in this loaded field. However the men don't swim the 800 at the Olympics so he can potentially only win 3 golds.

Enourmous value right now in the Swimming section. Throw a little on Melissa Franklin to win gold in the 100 backstroke (+454). This is tremendous value. Last night, she swam the 2nd fastest time in the world this year in the semifinals. Will probably go even faster tonight in finals. On top of all of this, it's being reported that she isn't even fully rested yet.

If you know nothing about swimming, she is a 17 year old phenom who has exploded on the scene. Won 3 gold's at last year's World Championships so she has big meet experience. True odds for this should be around +200 at the highest....

It looks like a tough spot with the schedule because Missy has to race the Freestyle pretty shortly before this race, it's going to take something out of her.
Even at 100% Seebohm destroyed everyone to qualify and Missy prob. wouldn't win.

But hey Schmitt almost took it down at +850 if bmaker matches that price when they put it back up maybe I'll try again with Missy.

Yea - wanted to get on that too, but the money reward wasn't worth the lack in enjoyment in not cheering for the Aussie each time they are up for a medal.

Magnusson not to win now down to +116, I expect it to drop even further.
