hard to hedge with a team that is going to be a big fav the next couple games. best price on Miami will be around -130 I would say. game 7 theyll be -480 if goes that far.
At this point it is best to just let it ride if you ask me. If Boston loses 2 in a row thats the way it goes.
He had chances to hedge out as I have shown, now he is painted into a corner for the most part.
Unless they offer something ridiculous on Miami for a series price like +200 or something, but I would imagine Miami will be around +135-140 at the best for the series, that would basically be the best option if it is that high.

although I was wrong I guess it has opened at PK -110 which will probably be the best odds you get. "safe" play would be put 1100 on Miami at -110 and get your money back, so youre going to break even or profit 4400. Depends on if you want to make money no matter what or just take the full shot. But at -110 there are options to hedge off, depending on how long those odds last and the limits you can get.
EDIT...LMAO already Boston +2 so unless you got it the first click youre going to be where I said, Miami -130 or so ML. And they have ML up already to -137 already. Should come back a little but if you didnt get the PK -110 I would stick to my original opinion and let it all ride.

I thought Boston would be favored in game 6 they were -2 in game 6 in 2010 vs. Cleveland after being dogs the first 5 games, they still may close as the fav though

Hedge? No, not yet. Not unless you bet Miami to win the series.
But it does not matter, JJGold does not hedge.

This thread right here is a prime example of why JJgold is a legendary, iconic handicapper. His isolated plays are feared by bookmakers across the world. When Mr. Gold focuses in on one of his segregated selections, the proper response isn't "why do you like this play?" or "what is your reasoning behind this play, JJ?". Your sole responsibility is to get on the phone, call your bookmaker, and get money down on the game.
Nothing more needs to be said.
Just step out of the way and allow this man to do his work. Nobody does it better.

Kinda hard for conehead to hedge when he never placed the bet in the first place. He thought Miami would win just wanted ye all to back Boston. Since when would this jackazz be so quiet after the Boston win tonight, He would be already creating some dumpazz video " I told you boys " BACK BOSTON BOYS" "Thats how we do it boys"
Fk off conehead, either show a ss or quit bullshitting people

You must have had some balls taking Boston.
But I still say hedge, and only reason.....Refs. Heat are done but you simply can't gamble with NBA and the Refs. Its unlikely, but NBA can still summon their secret weapon and bail out Miami. And considering how close the last two games have been, Refs can make a HUGE impact on the outcome of this.
Hedge? No, not yet. Not unless you bet Miami to win the series.
But it does not matter, JJGold does not hedge.
What is JJ gonna hedge? He's the most broke degen loser on the planet. It's hard to hedge a pack of bazooka vs his buddy that he has bet.

Had I not seen your original post I wouldn't have placed this bet. Decided to hedge by taking Heat to win series 4-3 and sitting pretty now with guaranteed money. Thanks for your post. Sending you a few points as I am now a believer.

I think I said play a small play on Miami. Or if you think Bos can win out at home just bet Bos. Which is the more 'logical' play. Bos is going to be a dog in every game going forward, they have been upwards of +400-415 for this game. You could throw a goof bet on the ML at those odds, but I still say hold off completely. But in Game 6 Bos is going to be Upwards of +120 at somepoint maybe even more at a lot of people will be thinking Miami gets it to a 7 situation. So you might get 130 even. So playing Boston at home would be a good play regardless. So I would say with your 2200 play 800 or so on whatever the best odds you could get in Game 6 on Boston, Assuming they have won game 5. if they lose Game 5 then you bet it all on Boston game 6 and then figure out how much you want to bet in Game 7 at +450 or whatevwr they get to.
At this (that) point it basically becomes a series of individual bets, the goal is to make more than +540 overall which isnt going to be too difficult considering Bos is going to be well over +400 in 2 of the last 3 games, and should be +125 or more in game 6.
OK, and now that Boston has won Game 5. Your bankroll is still $2,200 and you are looking at Boston +110 in Game 6. Your advice is to now put $800 on Boston in Game 6. If Boston wins game 6, JJ's bankroll ends up at about $3,160. Roughly half the $6,500 bankroll with a straight Series bet. The argument stops right here. Your approach was wrong. JJ's was right.
