Unless they offer something ridiculous on Miami for a series price like +200 or something, but I would imagine Miami will be around +135-140 at the best for the series, that would basically be the best option if it is that high.

I can see Heat losing by 20+ tnight. They will try and the Celtics will build a double digit lead and the Heat will just give up letting Boston win huge.

The only way for you to hedge is to take Miami on the ML which will be at least -250 so you will have to risk at least 2500 to offset your Series bet or to pray that the Heat have a bad first half and then you just take them in the second half to win 1000.

Missed the gravy boat. I hedged my Boston Eastern Conference bet on Miami to win Game 6. I've won my hedge and I could go for another hedge but it's almost near pointless with very little options.

ML is probably the only thing you can do.

Depends on the lines. The calculator will tell you. Enter $1000, the line for Celtics series price, and the Heat moneyline for game 7. You can scalp out for a small profit at this point. Nothing like before game 6, but it's a guaranteed profit on the original bet of around 20%, which is good from an investing point of view.

You can't scalp out for 1K profit at this point, though. So letting it ride may not be a bad idea either.

Ummm thatwas the hypothetical explanation of if bos had lost game 5, but since they won it that scenario was unnecessry. I said because Bos was up 3-2 the only option was to stand pat or put a small play on miami in game 6, but since the odds had changed so fast you had to basically stand pat or play a completely different series play through that option and forget ML plays in individual games.

Now it it basically an all or nothing play and hedging in nearly impossible.

Ironically I was in Bosto on my way back to Maine for a HS reunion so I didnt get a chance to respond to this before the game. But if you read all my responses I gave a pretty good step by step run down. But as it is right now with whatever bankroll you have I think the 'safe' number would be 2200, or had you played that goof bet (200) on Boston in game 5 you would have had 3000 if you got them at just +400 (they got to +430) they opened at. But to be conservative call t the original 2200 you got in game 4 for the original MLplay I suggested you have the all or nothingoption as in puttint the 2200 on Bos ML and you would be getting +375 now, I still think it gets to over +400, which obviously gets you a lot more than +550.

There are all still hypotheticals on the assumption he hadnt made the series play and had just bet that 4th game on the ML.

Now he is locked in. He basically has to sit there and hope Bos doesnt lose 2 in a row. Unless he did take Miam at whatever in a competey differentseries bet and forgot trying to play the MLs.

Are you serious? I don't even use US betting and I figured it out in a second.

If you take -450 for $4,500, you'll be break-even if Miami wins (You'll win $1,000 to cover your original Boston series bet). If Boston wins, you'll profit $900 if you hedge ($4,500 hedge + $1,000 original Boston series bet).

I've already hedged Game 6 so I'm riding Game 7 out.
