you do realize no one is forcing you to bet strictly unders right..bet a team..or in the games you dont like the under take an over..try a diff angle.

Congrats on NW acceptance. Almost went to U Chi Booth Business School but Venetian paid for my MBA at UNLV. Trying to get my semi-ex girl prepped for GMAT so she can get into Booth. So far on practice tests she's maxed out at 660. I want her to beat my 710.

Thanks grits. Really excited about northwestern. It was a surprise I got in because they place a lot of emphasis on the interview and I never signed up for one.

I thought I was going to pursue a joint MBA and JD at first so I did take the GMAT. Got a 690, the math section really dragged me down so I was glad the LSAT had none of that. Damn quantitative.

The quant section is just stupid. I got a 41 with a lot of guessing. 47 on verbal. The verbal was far more important when I took it. Now to accommodate wealthy foreigners they are placing more emphasis on quant. To me the MBA was a waste of time. I didn't learn anything I wasn't already either doing or aware of. The degree will just help you in job hunt and more importantly networking with wealthy alumni. Stay focused on school. My dad put himself through law school at Suffolk while working 2 jobs to keep us fed. He is disgusted by a majority of his colleagues.

I really hated the quantitative. My brain isn't wired for the types of questions it asks I guess. Just by how they have sold out as lawyers you mean as to why he is disgusted? I'm lucky that I won't be forced to work while in school and can just focus on finishing as high up in the class as I can and on securing good internships. I'm very lucky to have the parents I have.

Yea his reasoning is it's a big number and these are two shitty teams, plus all he does is bet under...but with the wind blowing out like that it can easily turn 290 ft flyballs into homers, so proceed with caution...I'm passing on it but it seems like over or no play to me.
