I hate the Heat but all of the ESPN "experts" and other sports media parroted all week leading up to this series about how competitive this series will be, how this won't just be the best first round series but perhaps the best series in the entire playoffs, how great the Knicks are, and other sensationalist crap about the Knicks. I think the Heat felt disrespected and took it out in Game 1. I expect a repeat in Game 2... the Knicks do not have what it takes. They are NOT a good team! They only get treated like an elite team by the media because they are a New York team. Don't fall for the hype!

What's your reasoning for taking the Knicks tonight? Shumpert is out, which means a lot less perimeter defense, I'd assume Woodson sticks JR Smith at SG, leaving the Knicks with no viable 6th man. When you're playing against a team that has guys like Bron and Wade running circles around you you get tired quick and now without a starter you will be eating into your bench for time. Dangerous territory going with Knicks in any way, shape, or form after the game 1 debacle. We know for a fact they can't stop Bron or Wade, so any chance for the Knicks would have to be a shooutout and that's impossible against these kinds of superstars. Add in that the Heat are at home, and I really see zero value with the Knicks. Heat -10, square? absolutely, but necessary.
