Ron Artest Needs to Shut Up
Artest got off lucky. He continues to slam players that say he was wrong. I have yet to hear a player/former player that agrees with Artest.

It was not a celebration. Anybody that believes that is a total moron.

Just be happy you weren't suspended for more games.

It doesn't matter. The lame Lakers won't make it to the Finals. With the thug or without him.

Honestly ive met and hanged out with ron artest, hes a cool guy, very humble and from discussions we had it actually seems like he doesnt even spend his money, he still does alot of the same stuff as he did when he was broke so i dont see him losing all his money after hoops. also i watched it live and it did look accidental live...watching it in slow motion though it looked very bad

Sorry swerv.. i wish you and your friend Ron the best but my problem is not that he hit the guy as that he continues to act like it was an accident and--like any other five year old--point out that "they did it too" see his tweet about the dude that tacckled Blake griffin several weeks back. The mark of a true man is accepting responsibility for his actions.. slomething he always refuses to do.. As sports fan we hve incredible capacity to forgive--all of us love a redemption story. I mean look at how we have embraced Andy Pettitte and Jason Giambi after they admitted Steroids.. is there anyone that doesn't root for Josh Hamilton after each and every time he comes forward after falling off the wagon... but look at howwe continue to crucify a guy liek Roger Clemens who insults our intelligence... much like your buddy Ron. I am glad to know that he is your friend, and that he is the good man you say.. maybe you can talk him into acting like one next time he talks about how he didn't realize a man that was FLUSH against his body as he for some reason threw an elbow with all his might high above his head --much like we all celebrate ;-) --was there next time you chat with him.

Anybody can remain calm and seem like a nice person when they r just hanging out at the mall or the bar (or wherever u met him) just chillin.

U wont see a persons bad side until something bad happens. And apparently for artest something bad happening means jams harden slightly bumping into you lol. And his response to this bad situation was to elbow him. Horrible.

I love watching the replay in slow-mo... even though I hate Artest and love Harden... I always find myself making slo-mo sound effects everytime I see it.

It was interesting listening to the sportsbook manager of M Resort (Cantor Gaming) say on Vegas radio today that not having Artest for 6 playoff games did not affect LA's game or series odds whatsoever. Oddsmakers don't care if Artest plays or doesn't play. He has no value to the Lakers in their minds.

I don't believe Denver provides many problems for LA. OKC would be more difficult but not impossible to beat. But, I do believe San Antonio will beat anybody they face in the West finals.

That elbow cost me a hugggggge parlay. Fcuk!! Oklahoma was winning big at the time, and once the elbow came, the fcuking Lakers came back and won in fcuking double overtime.

                          You are correct.

I should have said it was Mike Colbert, head oddsmaker at Cantor Gaming, who made the statement. Cantor does make their own lines and is one of the few books that takes a stand on a game.
